1. Svaneti Museum
Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography is one of the most remarkable museums in Georgia. It is a home to some of the important historical artifacts both from the region and the rest of the country. You’ll find here medieval weaponry, unique icons and engravings, silver, iron and copper ornaments, jewelry, textile and ethnographic artifacts that tell the story of Svan lifestyle.
2. Chaladi Glacier
Chaladi Glacier is situated on the southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains, that extends into a forest zone. The track will take only five to six hours to walk to the glacier and back to Mestia and is relatively moderate, with a little elevation gain.
3. Mount Zuruldi
Mount Zuruldi is a home to the highest restaurant and hotel in Svaneti. It also offers spectacular views of Mount Tetnuldi and the Caucasus Mountains range.
4. Koruldi Lakes
Do you know Georgia is the home to some gorgeous lakes? One of them is located in the vicinity of Mestia. Koruldi Lakes lie at the base of Mount Ushba, at 2,200-meters above the sea level and offer amazing views of the surrounding area.
5. Ushguli
Ushguli is considered as the highest settlement in Europe at the elevation of 2,200-meters above the sea level. This UNESCO World Heritage site is laid out at the foot of Mount Shkhara and offers stunning views of snow peak mountains, medieval defense towers, and green slopes.
