Glacier National Park is a year-round paradise. It is one of seven national parks in British Columbia. Glacier National Park protects the heart of southeastern British Columbia’s Selkirk and Purcell Mountains, the highest ranges in the Columbia Mountain system.
There are approximately 400 glaciers in and around Glacier National Park. Mountain goat, woodland caribou, black bears, and grizzly bears can be found in the park. Most visitors simply drive through, but there are numerous hiking trails and camping facilities available here.
